Alright, so this weekend may have been a smidge more aggressive than I originally anticipated. Oops.
- I guess it only makes sense that we fall in line and start with the Tool tour announcement. There will be an extensive run of shows in both the U.S. and Europe the first half of 2022. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 1st, and I’m already intimidated by how much these tickets may go for.
- Alright, let’s talk booze. Heilung have announced their signature beer and mead. For now, us in the U.S. can scoop up the beer here, which was created with brewery Nevel. I’m more intrigued by the mead, so I’ll stay tuned for now.
- Bastarður, the crust punk project fronted by Aðalbjörn Tryggvason, released another new single from the upcoming new record, Satan’s Loss of Son. Check out “The Whispering Beast” right here. As a reminder, that album is out on October 29th through Season of Mist.
- And we’ll close with The Ocean, who shared the first clip from the upcoming release of Phanerozoic Live. Check out the clip for “Devonian: Nascent” below. That footage, of course, is from the streaming event performed in Bremen. The live album drops on November 26th.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
