A couple days off because starting a new gig occupies time.

Eyehategod have announced the 4 Strikes… From The Elementary To The Penitentiary Tour with The Obsessed. Mostly April dates in the southern U.S. Not one I’m going to make, I don’t think.
Another tour because those are easy on a Monday. Overkill have announced the Wings Over The USA Tour featuring Act of Defiance and Death Angel. April and May dates. This is one that I am more likely to attend.
Some bummer news out of the Ozzy camp. Just as he was about to kick off his run of European shows with Judas Priest, it was announced that the first four dates would need to be rescheduled due to illness. Looks like Ozzy’s got the flu. Hopefully he can bounce back soon.
Gatekeeper have dropped a new video for “Grey Maiden”. This track will be on the upcoming EP under the same name. If you’re feeling some “true” metal, check it out. Oh, almost forgot. That EP will be out February 22nd.

2/27/2018. I’m halfway through the week. I guess that’s good.

Eyehategod have announced a March tour with Cro-Mags and Buzzov*en. Could be fun, but I’ll probably miss this one.
Another tour! (I’m being lazy today.) Armored Saint with Act Of Defiance. July and August. United States of America. Moving on.
Not sure if you’ve seen those Taake shows being canceled due to (mostly) Hoest’s idiocy that dates back to 2007, but the tour looks to be canceled entirely. I’ve seen Taake a couple times and they didn’t suck. That said, this is gonna happen when you implement questionable imagery and lyrics, regardless of how many apologies are made.
Argus have released a video for “Devils Of Your Time”. This one was taken from the album, From Fields Of Fire, which dropped last September.

2/1/2018. Last one these this week from me because I have a show to shoot tomorrow!

Act Of Defiance will be hitting the road this March. 20 dates across the U. S. and A (no East coast stuff though). Support from Shattered Sun.
Mayhem have announced a couple extended shows here in the U.S. as well. There aren’t many. So, um, good luck. I guess they are “career-spanning” shows or something.
Remember Ayreon? I sure remember Ayreon. Here’s a link to a live performance of “Everybody Dies”. Yay!
Darkest Hour have a new video out for “Enter Oblivion”. They’ve got some shows coming up as well, so that’s neat.

9/27/2017. Over the hump.

Converge news for all the Converge fans out there. The band dropped a new single, “Reptilian”, and announced a run of shows in December. Their newest album, The Dusk In Us, will be out November 3rd.
Act of Defiance have released a new track, “The Talisman”. Old Scars, New Wounds, drops at the end of this week. So go check that out.
Any techdeath fans out there remember Augury? It’s been a decade since they dropped their last album. But, surprise! They’ve signed with The Artisan Era and may have something out next year.

Act of Defiance has announced a run of shows in the spring and summer. The trashers out of LA feature Chris Broderick on guitar and Shawn Drover on drums. So if you missed hearing those names kicked around… here ya go.
Not sure if anyone else caught this kicking around today, but Belphegor were harassed in a Russian airport by an orthodox activist or something. Why can’t people just not be pieces of shit?
Have you ever wanted to be in an Amon Amarth music video? If so, now is your chance! The viking metallers will be collecting clips from live shows for their “Raise Your Horns” music video.
Whether this was supposed to be unveiled or not, who cares!? In an interview with The Metalist, Nile have confirmed they will be on the Summer Slaughter Tour, opening for Cannibal Corpse.
