The Nine Circles Playlist Vol. 140 (8.1.2020)

playlist - mixtape

Did we get the date wrong in the title of last week’s column? When time has no meaning anymore, who can say? All we know is that THIS week’s playlist is jammed full of a diverse mix of what we’ve all been listening to this week, from Anhedonist (RIP Kim Harrington and thank you for some of my favorite riffs ever written) to Obsidian Kingdom’ new single, to Margo Price and Diarrhea Planet. Get in there and find something good.

Howdy y’all and welcome to another Saturday morning playlist. This week, I went and saw Dashboard Confessional again so you know what that means, we’ve got all the new singles to keep you covered, plus classic Blind Guardian and Crowbar cuts, and because our Fearless Leader is who he is, just a little Merle Haggard to round things out. It’s a full house of picks this time around, so check all that out and more at the link below.

The Nine Circles Playlist Vol. 54 (9.30.2018)

playlist - mixtape

We could go on and on about how good metal has been thus far in the year or about how far the headlong spiral into the abyss we will go before it stops or even debate on what matters and what doesn’t (none of which I’m doing here by the way). The only thing that really matters at this moment in time is this piece of words and that we’re sharing another playlist of what we’ve collectively found that stuck with us in some form or fashion over the past couple weeks. Music has a tendency to allow its listeners a place to go where they can shrug and not give a damn and hopefully you’ll find that place here. Subscribe to our YouTube channel here and head directly below for a playlist tailor made for Saturday.
