I’ve been in Pennsylvania for four days now, and I can confirm that it is a place that exists… and we’re moving on…

Kicking off a new week, we have a new music video from Caliban. The visualizer for “Darkness I Became” is available here, a track taken from Dystopia. That album is available now through Century Media.
UK death and doom outfit Enchantment are releasing their new album, Cold Soul Embrace, on June 24th through Transcending Records and Cosmic Key Creations. For a glimpse of what’s to come, a clip for “Of Glorious Vistas Forgot” is sitting out there.
Knotfest Roadshow has announced September and October dates with the likes of Ice Nine Kills and Crown The Empire. Tickets will be available at this location, with presales kicking off tomorrow and general this coming Friday.
From there, we have some new black metal. White Rune are releasing Dawn of the White Rune on August 19th through Hammer of Hate. Check out the new track, “Crimson Lament”, right now.
Lastly, the top item of the day (in my book), is the news out of the In Flames camp. They’ve signed a fresh deal with Nuclear Blast, but more importantly they also release a new single titled “State of Slow Decay”. And I gotta tell ya, I’m really into it. Give it a watch and listen below.

Somehow, someway, there is no alcohol in my house. Suboptimal.

Melodic thrash group Emissary have emerged after a 25 year hiatus. The current plan is the release of a brand new album, which will be available on CD and vinyl, sometime later this year. It’ll be out through Underground Power Records, so keep an eye for updates.
Belgian melodic death metal band Fragmentum are releasing their second album this coming April. Specifically, April 16th is set as the international release date of Masters Of Perplexity. I can’t find a link confirming that, so take my word for it. Keep an eye out for a new track, which we should expect later this week.
Dang, we have another band ending a 25 year hiatus. UK doom crew Enchantment are releasing a new album, comprised of material that was originally written for a 1994/1995 sophomore effort, through Transcending Obscurity and Cosmic Key Creations. More details coming soon…
