CANTO: Dread Sovereign, Demon Incarnate, Burning Witches, and More

No shortage of items to cover today. A curious amount of new videos for a non-Friday… which we’ll mostly skip.

Anyway, we’ll start with Barishi, who have announced a virtual concert via Gimme TV. It’s a replay of their performance at the Stone Church in Brattleboro, VT, and it will air tomorrow at 7:00 EDT. Download the app to tune in for free and all that good stuff.
The next free concert stream features Burning Witches. That event takes place on the release day of their new album, The Witch Of The North, May 28th. Pre-order the record here, which is out through Nuclear Blast, and stream the event at this location.
You know what? Screw it. One more concert stream I want to share. I’ve been listening to their split EP all day, so we may as well share links to the Psychonaut and Sâver performances for Roadburn Redux. That was a great take on a virtual festival, and we should all be thrilled some of the footage is out there for us to ingest still.
And then we’ll close with a couple videos, the first coming from Dread Sovereign, who have also dropped some new merch at their Bandcamp site! But most importantly, here’s a link to the video for “Her Master’s Voice”, taken from Alchemical Warfare, which is out now through Metal Blade.
And lastly we have the new music video from Demon Incarnate for “In Disguise”. That’s the first one from Leaves of Zaqqum, which is set for a June 18th release through Metalville Records. Enjoy.

Alright, let’s see if we have anything positive to share today.

Looks like we have a couple videos to drop in here, so let’s start with Noir. They released a new video for “Daydreaming”, a cover of the Radiohead classic. Like with all covers, I am curious how everyone feels about this.
And then we have new stuff from Here Lies Man. Their next album, Ritual Divination, drops on January 22nd through RidingEasy Records. Today, however, you can listen to a new track titled “Collector of Vanities”. Check that out and then pre-order the album.
Anybody else miss that curiously metal song featuring David Hasselhoff, “Through The Night”? Well, if you did, be sure to check out this guitar playthrough from CueStack over at Guitar World. I haven’t listened to it yet, but I saw it floating around. Seems like the response was favorable… who knew?
And we’ll close with the new video from Dread Sovereign for “The Great Beast We Serve”. Their third full-length album, titled Alchemical Warfare, drops on January 15th through Metal Blade.

It sure doesn’t feel like the holiday season. Except for the stress… that feels familiar.

Dread Sovereign are dropping a new album, titled Alchemical Warfare, on January 15th through Metal Blade Records. Check out that new video for “Nature Is The Devil’s Church” while you’re at it.
Nightfall has shared a performance video for “As Your God is Failing Once Again”, which comes with the announcement of some reissues. Their back catalog will be released on vinyl and CD through Season of Mist in the first two months of 2021.
The Deviant released a new single from their upcoming new album. This one is called “Son of Dawn”, and it’s taken from Rotting Dreams of Carrion, which is out on December 4th through Soulseller Records.
Sick Of It All has released the sixth, and final, video from their Quarantine Sessions series. This one is for “Deep State”, and you can check it out immediately below.
