CANTO: In Flames, Hierophant, Collapse Culture, and More

It’s Monday. The pickings are a little slim today, but let see what we can dig up.

  • We’ll lead off with some Italian death metal. Hierophant unveiled a new single, titled “Devil Incarnate”. That’s the latest one from Death Siege, which is slated for an August 26th release through Season of Mist. Here’s the purchase link, for those looking for it.
  • This next one is somewhat FITM-related, so I’m dropping it in. Munly & The Lupercalians are releasing a new album on August 26th through Scacunincorporated titled Kinnery Of Lupercalia; Undelivered Legion. Originally out in March exclusively for their fan club, it’s soon to be available to all. Cool.
  • Psychedelic/techno duo Collapse Culture, which features Kowloon Walled City and Bleach Everything members, are releasing their second album on September 16th. Drag Your Coffin My Lord will be out through Pax Aeternum. Check out “Nuclear Semiotics (Superstructure Collapse)” here.
  • Rounding out the day with something a bit more notable, we have another new track from In Flames. This one is titled “The Great Deceiver”, and much like “State of Slow Decay”, it brings some weight. Needless to say, I’m happy about this recent trend. Anyway, the video is below. Enjoy.

CANTO: Fallujah, Amon Amarth, Trial, and More

And all of a sudden tomorrow is Friday.

  • We’ll lead off with Fallujah and their latest offering from Empyrean. The visualizer for “Embrace Oblivion” is available here. As a reminder, their fifth studio album will be out on September 9th through Nuclear Blast.
  • From there, we also have the latest single taken from Death Siege, the next album in the Hierophant catalog. Give “Crypt of Existence” a listen here. That album drops on August 26th through Season of Mist.
  • END and Cult Leader are teaming up for a split EP, titled Gather & Mourn. That will be out on September 9th through Closed Casket Activities and Deathwish Inc, and we have two tracks to offer from this today, END’s “Eden Will Drown” and Cult Leader’s “Ataraxis”.
  • Swedish heavy metallers Trial have set September 2nd as the the release date for Feed The Fire, which will be out through Metal Blade. Check out “Sulphery”, and pre-order that one while you’re over there.
  • Closing out, we have the title-track from The Great Heathen Army, the upcoming new album from Amon Amarth that I’m sure you were already aware of. Anyway, that’s out on August 5th through Metal Blade Records.

CANTO: King Parrot, Hierophant, Vomit Forth, and More

I almost skipped this today, but I couldn’t ignore all the fun stuff happening out there.

  • To start, we have new material from WAKE. Check our their new single, titled “Infinite Inward”. Their sixth full-length album will be out on July 22nd through Metal Blade, titled Thought Form Descent, and we are all very excited about it.
  • From there, we’ve got updates from King Parrot. The Australian grind crew are releasing their debut EP from 2011, titled The Stench Of Hardcore Pub Trash, on vinyl for the first time through Housecore Records and Dead Set Records. That will be out on June 30th.
  • Reunited thrash collective Mantic Ritual have returned with the new music video for “Crusader”, their first new material since 2009. They’ve also got a new EP coming on September 2nd, so we’ll keep an eye out for that.
  • Italian death metallers Hierophant are releasing a new full-length, Death Siege, on August 26th through Season of Mist. Check out the video for the title-track here.
  • To wrap up the day, we’ll opt for the new stuff from Vomit Forth. Below is the new video for “Predatory Savior”. Seething Malevolence is out on July 8th through Century Media.
