Hello, everyone. Today was a rough one in our metal universe. We’ll start with one announcement and hopefully move onto some more positive news.
- We lost another legend today. Entombed frontman, LG Petrov, passed away after a battle with cancer. I remember his announcement about his condition last August, and honestly this still doesn’t feel real. Entombed A.D. made a statement earlier today that you can read on their Facebook page. Fuck cancer.
- Alright, what else is happening, and do we even care? The Lion’s Daughter have announced a record release live stream event scheduled for April 11th, the Sunday following the official release of Skin Show. Tickets and merch bundles are available at this link, and if you haven’t pre-ordered the album yet, you can do so here (Season of Mist).
- London trio Urne have announced a new album and released a new single. Serpent & Spirit will be out on June 25th through Candlelight Records, which you can pre-order here while also checking out “Desolate Heart”.
- And we’ll close with the new music video from Varmia for “Ten Blask Co Po Nim Śmierć” (“The Gleam and Then Death”). That track is taken from bal Lada, their third album, which drops this coming Friday through M-Theory Audio. Pre-orders available here.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
