• Absolutely heart-breaking news to share today about the passing of Power Trip frontman Riley Gale. At this time, we don’t know exactly what happened, but I’m sure more information will emerge eventually. For now, let’s just recognize that metal lost a great one. Our thoughts are with those close to Riley. RIP.
• Let’s try and find some positives to share from here on out… starting with Tribulation, who have announced a new album, Where the Gloom Becomes Sound. That is set for a January 2021 release through Metal Blade in North America and Century Media elsewhere.
• Swedish folk rock crew Garmarna have unveiled new album details as well. Förbundet drops on November 6th through Season of Mist, and you can listen to a new track right now called “Ramunder”.
• We’ll close the day with a new video from symphonic metallers Memoira for a track called “Shooting Star”, taken from the album Carnival of Creation. That is set for a September 25th release through Inverse Records.
