What a fucking day. And I actually need to work a full week this week. The WORST.

But at least we can start with Deafheaven news. Album number five appears set for an August 20th release through Sargent House. I’ve heard rumors regarding the album name and all that, but I’ll spare the gossip until I hear more. Either way, yay.
Beyond Creation have announced a signature beer, as part of Vox&Hops’ Brewtal North America. The “Entre Stout Et Mirage” will be a stout with Brazilian coffee and amburana, and was created in collaboration with Overhop Canada. All those brews officially drop the week of June 21st.
Anti-Flag have announced a North American tour, which will include two legs. The first run is in September with Dog Party, Grumpster, and Oxymorrons, and then the second leg falls in November with Bad Cop/Bad Cop and Doll Skin. Tickets are available here.
And we’ll close with the very fresh new video from Nonpoint for “Ruthless”. Legit, this just premiered a couple hours ago. “Ruthless” is the title-track from their latest EP, available here. Ok, I gotta run. Quite literally.

Let’s start with a shiny new tour. Goatwhore has announced a tour in the United States in September that supplements their appearance at Ozzfest. If you’re out west, or out west-ish, check it out.
The Agonist is set to drop their latest album, Five, on September 30th. The melodic death metallers new album with be out on Napalm Records and it looks like the release will be supplemented by a run of shows… or something.
It’s a slow day and we haven’t covered album sales in awhile, so let’s do that. Check out notable releases from Chevelle and Nonpoint. Inter Arma and Gone is Gone are down there somewhere as well.
Jason Newsted, former Metallica bassist, has returned with a solo project called Would and Steal. The project will be mostly acoustic, but at this point that’s all we really know. More to come on Friday over at the Mighty Fine Guitars Facebook page.
