New Jersey melodic death trio Voidscape, a project featuring members of Tombs and Replicant, are releasing their debut EP on March 31 through Nefarious Industries titled Odyssey Of Spite. Get your preorder on and check out this lyric video for “Burden of Breathing” here.
Fires In The Distance are releasing Air Not Meant For Us on April 28 through Prosthetic Records, and today they premiered a video for “Wisdom of the Falling Leaves” over at Metal Injection.
Avant-garde metallers Dødheimsgard are releasing a new album on April 14 through Peaceville Records titled Black Medium Current. Preorders for that can be found here.
Dutch progressive death metal collective Phlebotomized are releasing Clouds of Confusion on May 26 through Hammerheart Records. Man, I sure am glad they’ve been doing things again and their reemergence in 2013 was legit. Keep out for a new single dropping on March 3.

Today was exhausting, yet productive!

Ensiferum have announced the “Seafearer’s Dream” European headlining tour next March and April. It’s a shorter run, only including 10 dates, with local support on each date. So if you happen to be on the other side of the Atlantic early next year, have at it.
Sequestrum, the death grind unit out of Copenhagen, unleashed “Preserved to Last”. Give that a listen over at Decibel. That’s the first single off of their debut EP, Pickled Preservation, which drops on January 27 through Extremely Rotten Productions.
Sludge doom band 71TonMan are following last year’s EP with Of End Times, which is officially out on March 3 through Transcending Obscurity Records. There are a couple of tracks already streaming over on their Bandcamp, and they are heavy. Give em a listen and get pummeled.
This goes back a couple of days, but news is slow this time of year. Oceanhoarse revealed a new lyric video for “Carved in Stone”, a track taken from Heads Will Roll. That can be viewed below, and the album drops on February 17 through Noble Demon.

Oh boy! The start of another work week!

Watain and Mayhem are touring North America this coming March. The tour kicks off on the 7th in San Francisco and wraps up on April 3rd in Joliet, and additional support is in the form of Midnight. Watain has also just finished recording their latest full-length, which should drop early next year through Nuclear Blast. Good stuff.
In case you needed a reminder that Dark Funeral is dropping new material in the near future, here’s a bit of a preview for We Are The Apocalypse and its release show. It’s out on March 18th through Century Media, which is the primary takeaway of course.
Oceanhoarse dropped a new lyric video for “Fields of Severed Dreams“, a track taken from Dead Reckoning. That album dropped back on August 20th through Noble Demon, and is available for purchase here.
It’s a pretty light day so we’ll wrap up here with the new video from Dawn Of Solace for “Event Horizon”. Flames of Perdition is out on January 28th, also through Noble Demon.

Dead Poet Society have announced a livestream event for their debut album, scheduled for March 13th at 3 PM EST. Tickets for the event can be purchased here. The album, -!- (“The Exclamation Album”), drops the day before, and can still be pre-ordered at this location.
Oceanhoarse, the heavy metal collective out of Helsinki, have signed on to a worldwide deal with German label Noble Demon. Their currently-unnamed debut through the label should be out in August, but to mark the occasion they released a new single, “One with the Gun”, which can be streamed here.
Dutch extreme metal outfit Autarkh have premiered a new song over at Outburn Magazine. “Alignment” is taken from their upcoming new album, Form in Motion, which is scheduled for a March 12th released through Season of Mist. I know we’ve mentioned that one before… I think.
Lastly, the new music video from WuW for “En Souvenir Des Jours Que nous N’Aurons Pas Vécus”. The Parisian post-metal duo have their latest album, Rétablir L’Eternité, out now through Prosthetic Records. News coming from all over the spectrum today. Cool.
