I cannot take credit for discovering Second to Sun all on my lonesome. That distinction goes to our very own Z yklonius, the donut devourer himself, and his hyper specific talent of posting snippets of exactly what I’m currently into in the staff group chat. When I first caught wind of the initial singles from Leviathan, I was pretty instantly blown away by what I heard, and I knew this would be an album for me to keep my eyes on. Now that it’s finally here, I can very definitively say that, holy shit, this one bangs.

The word of the day, is “dumb”. As in, other people’s inability to pay attention created a dumb waste of my time.

Swedish hardcore veterans Refused are returning to North America for a headlining tour next February and March. They will be joined by Metz and Youth Code within those dates. I will also use this space to remind you that their next album, War Music, will be out on October 18th via Spinefarm and Search & Destroy.
Omnium Gatherum released a new song and lyric video today. The track is called “Chaospace”. For those of us on the other side of the Atlantic, you can catch OG live in Europe over the next month or so.
Updates from Obsequiae, which is always exciting. We’ve got a couple new tracks, called “L’autrier M’en Aloie” and “Ceres In Emerald Streams”, that you can check out right now. That new album, titled The Palms Of Sorrowed Kings, will be out on November 22nd through 20 Buck Spin.
Finally, how about a new video from Second To Sun. This one is for “Devil”. It’s black metal, from what I understand.
