CANTO: Capra, Krossfyre, Paysage d’Hiver, and More

I got new glasses today. Yes, that is the most exciting thing that’s happened to me in the last 24 hours. Well, that and my Pelagic coffee.

Capra has their debut album scheduled for an April 23rd release through Blacklight Media and Metal Blade Records. It’ll be titled In Transmission, and it’s one we are anticipating quite a bit in the Nine Circles camp. So, naturally, we’re going to plug the new single, “Samuraiah Carey”.
Skillet have announced a drive-in theater tour, with dates running from April 22nd through May 23rd. Wait… why am I sharing Skillet news? Moving on…
French black metal collective Seth have unveiled new album details, as well as a new single. The self-titled album is scheduled for a May 7th drop through Season of Mist, and you can listen to “La Morsure du Christ” right here.
Krossfyre released the first single from their Hells Headbangers debut album. Rites of Extermination won’t be released until this summer, with a specific date still to come, but you can check out “Infernal War” right now.
And lastly, the new video from Paysage d’Hiver for “Äschä”. That track is taken from Geister, which is set for an April 23rd release.

I’ve had to work from home two days in a row which I’m not the biggest fan of.

It would be a safe bet to assume that I will always lead off with Fire In The Mountains updates. Today, it was revealed that Bell Witch and Aerial Ruin would be performing a collaborative set. Haunter and Eternal Champion were also announced. This is getting exciting.
Skillet have announced an early 2020 headlining tour with From Ashes To New and Ledger. Those dates are in February and March and cover most of the United States.
Killswitch Engage have revealed their support for the upcoming spring tour. Light the Torch will serve as the opening act, with August Burns Red in as the main support. Did we already know all that? I’m not sure.
Yo. Check out this new flick from Envy for “A Step in the Morning Glow.” Their next album, The Fallen Crimson, will be out on February 7th through Pelagic Records.

Venom Prison

Well. What a weekend that was.

First, from Friday, Venom Prison announced a North American tour with Homewrecker. They’re also playing with special guests Call of the Void, Joy, and Great American Ghost on various dates. These are in September and October.
You know what? All tours today. Next up is Agnostic Front’s 35th anniversary tour for their debut album Victim In Pain. They’ll be joined by Prong, which means this should be a ton of fun. Also September and October dates.
And how about Skillet and Alter Bridge? They’re doing things together those same months! What are the odds? That’s a co-headlining tour with support in the form of Dirty Honey who I’ve never heard of before.
Let’s get weird this Monday. This is the new music video from The Spider Hole for “The Leviathan Stomp”. It’s a quick burn but it’s quite a bit of fun.
