CANTO: Suicide Silence, Distant, Unfelled, and More

Why hasn’t my copy of Foregone shipped yet?

  • I’m bookending this list with Century Media happenings. First, we have a new track from Distant which features Will Ramos of Lorna Shore. Give “Heritage” a listen here. That’s the title track from their new album, which is officially released this coming Friday.
  • Out of the Season of Mist camp, we have a new track from Unfelled, the black metal project featuring members of Woods of Desolation, Drudkh, and Austere. Give “Veil of Perdition” a listen here. Their debut full-length, Pall of Endless Perdition, is out on March 10.
  • French technical death metallers Gorod are releasing The Orb on March 7, right ahead of a North American tour featuring the likes of Cognitive, Summoning The Lich, and Flub.
  • Veil of Maya dropped a new track today through Sumerian Records titled “Godhead”. Give the video for that a watch here. They’ve got some tour dates in the near-ish future as well.
  • Let’s close out with the new video from Suicide Silence for “Dying Life”. That track is taken from Remember… You Must Die, which is set for a March 10 release through Century Media. But I’m sure you already knew that.

CANTO: In Flames, Suicide Silence, Kreator, and More

I didn’t work today, but getting Canto out for you fine folks still counts for something, right?

  • To lead off the week, we have some announcements from Suicide Silence. Remember… You Must Die will be out through Century Media on March 10, and with that announcement they shared a music video for “Alter of Self”. It’s an entertaining clip, I’m not gonna lie.
  • Kreator and Sepultura are coming together for the “Klash of the Titans” North America tour this coming May and June. The dates kick off in Harrisburg and wrap up in NYC, and they’ll be joined by Death Angel and Spiritworld. You can scoop up tickets this coming Friday.
  • Swedish metallers Beneath My Feet unveiled a new single today, titled “One More Time”, which of course came with a music video. Give that a watch here. In Parts, Together is scheduled for a March 3rd release through Noble Demon.
  • Closing out, we have another heavy new single from In Flames, titled “Meet Your Maker”. Give the video for the new track a watch below. As a reminder, Foregone is set for a February 10th release through Nuclear Blast, and yes I did in fact lock in my preorder several months ago.

CANTO: Suicide Silence, Constellatia, Bones, and More

An early afternoon draft because life is still upside down.

  • I guess we can start by checking out the new Queensrÿche. Give “Behind The Walls” a listen and watch here, a track taken from the upcoming new album Digital Noise Alliance. That one drops on October 7th through Century Media.
  • I suppose we can mix things up with some metalcore today. Check out the latest from Currents, titled “The Death We Seek”. That’s available through SharpTone Records.
  • This is something I wasn’t previously familiar with. South African progressive black metallers Constellatia are releasing their sophomore full-length on November 11th through Season of Mist, titled Magisterial Romance. With that announcement, the first single, “Adorn”, is available now.
  • Chicago extreme metal outfit Bones are releasing their fourth album, Vomit, on October 28th through Disorder Recordings. Here’s a preview clip. The release show they’re hosting on the 29th at Reggie’s looks like a ton of fun as well.
  • Suicide Silence premiered a new track today, titled “You Must Die”. That single is available for purchase here, and you can watch the music video for it below.
