In more important news, Dååth is back after a 13 year hiatus! They’ve signed on with Metal Blade, and released a new single titled “No Rest No End”, which you can check out over on Bandcamp. It’s quite good! Now we just gotta wait for an album announcement…
Also out of Metal Blade, Downfall Of Gaia unveiled their latest single, “Existence Of Awe”, a visualizer for which can be seen here. Their sixth studio album, Silhouettes Of Disgust, is set for a March 17 release.
Out of Season of Mist, progressive black metal entity Henget revealed details surrounding its debut full-length. Beyond North Star is set for a May 18 drop, and a video for “I Am Them” can be seen here.
With the release of Step Into The Light approaching, The Acacia Strain has lined up a few record release shows. Tickets go on sale Friday, so get those specific dates and details here. As a reminder, that album officially drops on May 12 through Rise Records.
Closing out we have the new single and video from blackened deathcore outfit Ov Sulfur, titled “Befouler”. That track features Alex Terrible, and is taken from their debut full-length, The Burden Ov Faith. That album drops on March 24 through Century Media.

I was going to skip this today, but there’s too much awesome stuff happening.

We’ll lead off with The Ocean, because this is my post and they’re my favorites. Duh. Pre-orders for Holocene are officially live, and yes I did snag one of the boxes, thanks for asking. That’s out May 19 through Pelagic Records, of course, and today they unveiled a new track, with video, titled “Parabiosis”. It’s different and it’s awesome.
Full of Hell and Primitive Man unveiled “Tunnels to God”, the latest from their collaborative album. Suffocating Hallucination is out on March 3 through Closed Casket Activities. They’re both on tour with Fit For An Autopsy and The Acacia Strain next month.
Necrot has announced a US headlining tour in May, where they’ll be joined by Mortiferum and Deathgrave. Unfortunately for me, that tour happens to be on the other side of the country, so it appears I’ll be sitting this one out.
Sleep Token are releasing their third album, Take Me Back to Eden, on May 19 through Spinefarm. Give the new single, “Vore”, a listen and watch here.
I listened to the new track from Cattle Decapitation about 100 times today, so we’ll wrap up with that. Give “We Eat Our Young” a watch and listen below. Terrasite is out on May 12 through Metal Blade, and that is one we are all anxiously awaiting.

PNW doom outfit Usnea have signed on with Translation Loss Records for the release of their long awaited new album. Bathed In Light will be out on May 26, and you can check out “From Soot and Pyre” over at Decibel.
Downfall of Gaia have announced a run of shows in April over in Europe, where they’ll be joined by Implore and Deathrite. They also unveiled a drum playthrough of “Bodies as Driftwood“, if you’re into that kind of stuff.
The Acacia Strain have set May 12 as the release date for Step Into The Light, which will be available through Rise Records. Check out the visualizer for “Fresh Bones” here.

Yo, check out this 360 video from Omega Infinity for “Iron Age”. It’s fun, even without VR goggles. That song is taken from The Anticurrent, which is out on February 24 through Season of Mist.
Another day, another massive tour announcement. Enslaved and Insomnium are co-headlining a North America run next April, with support from Black Anvil. Tickets go on sale Friday.
The Acacia Strain released a visualizer for a new track titled “Untended Graves”. Give it a watch here. It’s quick, but it hits hard. That single is available to purchase here, if that’s your style. They’re also on tour early next year with Fit For An Autopsy, Full of Hell, and Primitive Man. Large.

Hey! I just locked in a super cool show next week! It’s been awhile…

Speaking of shows, we may as well start with an awesome tour announcement. The Acacia Strain, Fit for An Autopsy, Full of Hell, and Primitive Man are covering North America next March. I, for one, can’t wait. Tickets go on sale Friday at this location.
Napalm Records announced a new signing in Death Dealer Union, the Los Angeles-based crew. They only have a couple of singles out to date, so we’ll keep an eye out as new material comes forward.
Anthrax and Black Label Society, with special guest Exodus, are returning for another round of shows early next year. Ticket go on sale Friday, and you can find them at this location.
I think this technically emerged yesterday, because Halloween and stuff. Here’s a new video from Suicide Silence for “Capable of Violence”. It’s very brutal and very much not a thing you should watch at work. That raises a question… Does NSFW still apply when you WFH?
And then closing out with another video, we have “Like Vultures” from Cabal. That track is taken from Magno Interitus, which dropped last month through Nuclear Blast.
