CANTO: Crown, Nightfall, The Amenta, and More

Ok, getting back on track for the rest of week. Something like that.

  • The highly anticipated sophomore release from Crown, The End Of All Things, is steadily approaching. Today, they released the new single, “Shades”. The official release date is set for April 16th, through Pelagic Records, with pre-orders also available at that link. I’m definitely excited about this one.
  • For those that can’t wait an extra day for the release of At Night We Prey, I have good news. Nightfall is streaming their new album in full at this link. But, like I said, it’s out officially tomorrow through Season of Mist, and you can still snag a physical copy if you feel so inclined.
  • Atreyu news for anyone that might be interested. Today they released two new tracks, “Warrior” and “Underrated”, the former of which features Travis Barker, which is pretty cool. Of course, those releases also came with a new album announcement. Baptize will be out on June 4th through Spinefarm Records, and pre-orders are already up.
  • For those planning on checking out Roadburn Redux, and you should, another slew of bands was announced today. The list includes Primitive Man, Mizmor, Wayfarer, and more. Here’s some more info, if you need it.
  • And we’ll close with a new video clip from The Amenta for “Psoriastasis”. Revelator is out now through Debemur Morti Productions. Dang, solid roundup today…

CANTO: Harakiri For The Sky, The Amenta, Pupil Slicer, and More

harakiri for the sky

I should probably go outside one of these days.

  • So this is different and definitely worth a few minutes of time. Members of Archspire have launched an online cooking show? It’s called Good Morning Handsome, and you can check out episode 1, “Friends With Benny’s”, right now.
  • Harakiri For The Sky released a new single today, with accompanying drum playthrough. “I’m All About the Dusk” is, of course, taken from Mӕre, which is now set for a February 19th release through AOP Records.
  • Pupil Slicer, who just signed on with Prosthetic Records last year, have announced the release of their debut album, Mirrors, on March 12th. They’re streaming a new single today, “Wounds Upon My Skin”, if you’re interested in a preview.
  • And we’ll close with a video from The Amenta for “An Epoch Ellipsis”, a track taken from Revelator. That album drops on February 19th through Debemur Morti Productions. Get your pre-order on over at their Bandcamp link.
