John Cxnnor x The Devil’s Trade are releasing Live at Roadburn 2022 on April 21 through Season of Mist (digital) and Pelagic Records (physical). Today they revealed a track from that collection, “The Call of the Doom Mons”, which you can check out here.
Blackened death metal crew Black Lava shared a new live video for “Baptized In Ice”. That track is taken from their debut album, Soul Furnace, which dropped late last year through Season of Mist.
Falling In Reverse announced a headlining United States tour in June, featuring the likes of Ice Nine Kills, Underoath, Spiritbox, and more. Tickets go on sale to the general public this coming Friday here.
Ok, just one more from Season of Mist. Finnish grindcore collective Rotten Sound revealed a new song and music video, titled “Renewables.” Their eight studio album, Apocalypse, is slated for a March 31 release.
DevilDriver dropped a new video today, for “Through The Depths”, which you can view below. Not gonna lie, it hits pretty hard. I dig it. Dealing With Demons Vol. II is out May 12 through Napalm Records.

I’m still in Maine doing the Maine stuff until tomorrow. It’s been fun, in a few ways.

Let’s start with some Black Lava. The emerging blackened death metal crew are releasing Soul Furnace on November 25 through Season of Mist, and today they unveiled a video for the new track “Northern Dawn”.
Swedish black/death metal legends Necrophobic are reissuing a few classic albums: Darkside, The Third Antichrist, Bloodhymns and Womb Of Lilithu. Those will available through Century Media later this winter, and can be preordered here.
Eskhaton has set November 18 as the release date for a new mini album, Horracle. That will be available through Hells Headbangers, and you can stream a new track titled “Vortexecution” here.
Oakland death rock trio False Figure are releasing Castigations through Transylvanian Recordings on November 1, and a video for “Possession” is available here.
Closing out Monday, we have a new clip from Reaping Asmodeia, for “Simulacra”. That track is taken from Darkened Infinity, which dropped about one year ago through Prosthetic Records. Here’s a link, if you need it.

Three more work days…

Looks like we have new material from Serj Tankian on the horizon. A new EP, titled Perplex Cities, will be out on October 21st through Serjical Strike. You can hear “Pop Imperialism” through an immersive AR experience here. And if you get confused, here’s a demo.
Italy’s Abhor are streaming Sex Sex Sex (Ceremonia Daemonis Antichristi) a few days ahead of the release date. Since this was one of my favorite black metal projects out of Italy for awhile, I’m taking a moment to share it. Here you go. It’s officially out on the 23rd through Iron Bonehead.
If you need a little dark folk in your Monday, check out Nytt Land. Ritual: Blood of the West, the new EP, will be out on November 18th through Napalm Records. “Dark Country. Ritual” is available for streaming here.
We’ll close out Monday with some blackened death metal in the form of Black Lava. The music video for “Eye of the Moon” is below, a track taken from Soul Furnace. That album is out on November 25th through Season of Mist.

I’m running behind tonight, so let’s see how efficient we can be.

Leading off with something gnarly, we have the latest from Autopsy. The lyric video for “Skin By Skin” is available here, taken from their upcoming new album, Morbidity Triumphant. That’ll be out on September 30th through Peaceville.
More Behemoth emerged today, yet another new video we’ll include here. Check out the video for “Thy Becoming Eternal”. I haven’t listened to it yet, but I suppose I will tomorrow. Opvs Contra Natvram is out on September 16th through Nuclear Blast.
From there, we have “Soul Furnace” from Black Lava, the title-track from their upcoming new album. That debut full-length effort from the blackened death metal crew will be out on November 25th through Season of Mist.
There’s some cool stuff coming out of Napalm Records these days, so we’ll wrap up with another new track and video from that label. Wolfheart is releasing King of the North on September 16th, and the second single, titled “The King”, is available below.
