We’ll wrap up Monday with the traditional heavy metal collective out of Portland, Mamorlis. Sturdy as an Oak is out independently on March 8th, and you can pre-order it on cassette here. Check out the first single from that, “Wolfric the Wild”, right below.
Sure, we can start with Buckcherry I suppose. They’re teaming up with The Lacs for a winter tour kicking off on January 7th in Texas. Tickets, including VIP packages, go on sale this Friday at this location.
Underoath, a thing I’ve personally never cared for but many people very much do, have announced the “Digital Ghost” cinematic concert. It’s set for December 3rd, and serves as your first chance to hear Voyeurist in full. As a reminder, that album officially drops on January 14th.
It’s Saturday. You already know we’ve got you covered. This week our playlist features a treasure trove of new singles; everything from the crushing piano-driven sorrow of Emma Ruth Rundle‘s “Return” to the crushing-in-a-different-sense-of-the-word swampy metal of Worm‘s “Empire of the Necromancers” gets a spot. If you’re looking for the best of what’s new, check all that out and more below.
And that, of course, refers to Fire In The Mountains. A new batch of bands was announced, including Yellow Eyes, Visigoth, Lykotonon, and more. The 2022 version of this festival is going to be absolutely massive. Tickets are available at this location.
Megadeth has named a bassist for the upcoming tour with Lamb of God, Trivium, and Hatebreed. James LoMenzo will be stepping in for that run of shows, after Megadeth parted ways with David Ellefson. Those dates start August 20th in Austin, Texas. Tickets are available here.
I’m going to drop in a couple new videos today, one of which comes from Benediction. Here’s the new video for “Tear Off These Wings”, from their most recent album, Scriptures, which dropped last October through Nuclear Blast.
And lastly, The Devil’s Trade released a new live video for “Három Árva”, a track taken from last year’s The Call of the Iron Peak (Season of Mist). Give it a watch below. It’s awesome.
