CANTO: Krigsgrav, Lacuna Coil, Hooded Menace, and More

Alright, let’s see if things normalize a bit this week. Not likely.

CANTO: Horndal, Exil, Insanity Alert, and More

Are long weekends worth the added stress that follows them? Yes. Yes they are.

  • I’m feeling some fresh hardcore punk, so we’ll start the week with Exil, who have announced the release date of their Armageddon Label debut. Warning will be out on July 23rd, and to kick start the countdown you can check out the first single, “Maniac”, on this compilation streaming on Bandcamp.
  • Horndal shared a new video for “Rossen” today over at Decibel, with an accompanying interview. Worth a read and watch, obviously. Lake Drinker is out now through Prosthetic Records, and you can pick it up here. I’ve actually been meaning to check this one out and haven’t gotten around to it yet. Shame!
  • So this is a fairly substantial 2021 tour. Halestorm and Evanescence are hitting the road together for a handful of Arena dates in November and December, covering a good chunk of the United States. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 14th, and you can scoop them up here.
  • Crossover thrashers Insanity Alert are releasing their mainstage performance of the song “All Mosh / No Brain” from Hellfest 2019. Check it out directly below. Side note: this is one of the festivals on my ‘to-attend’ list, and clips like these keep that motivation high. Anyway, enjoy.
