John Cxnnor x The Devil’s Trade are releasing Live at Roadburn 2022 on April 21 through Season of Mist (digital) and Pelagic Records (physical). Today they revealed a track from that collection, “The Call of the Doom Mons”, which you can check out here.
Blackened death metal crew Black Lava shared a new live video for “Baptized In Ice”. That track is taken from their debut album, Soul Furnace, which dropped late last year through Season of Mist.
Falling In Reverse announced a headlining United States tour in June, featuring the likes of Ice Nine Kills, Underoath, Spiritbox, and more. Tickets go on sale to the general public this coming Friday here.
Ok, just one more from Season of Mist. Finnish grindcore collective Rotten Sound revealed a new song and music video, titled “Renewables.” Their eight studio album, Apocalypse, is slated for a March 31 release.
DevilDriver dropped a new video today, for “Through The Depths”, which you can view below. Not gonna lie, it hits pretty hard. I dig it. Dealing With Demons Vol. II is out May 12 through Napalm Records.

Friday before a long weekend (for some of us). I’ll take it!

Demon Hunter shared a new single from the reimagined album Songs of Death and Resurrection. This is “Loneliness (Resurrected). That album drops on March 5th through Solid State Records, and here’s you’re pre-order link if you’re into that kind of stuff.
Sweden’s Horndal have announced a new record, their sophomore effort. Lake Drinker drops on April 9th through Prosthetic Records. Check out this introduction video to the album, “Rossen”, as you contemplate locking this album in at this pre-order location. Personally, I’m kind of into it.
The thing about Friday is that there are a lot of new videos and album announcements. This next clip comes from Falling In Reverse, who released a reimagined version of “I’m Not A Vampire (Revamped)”. Sounds like that number was in the works for awhile, like a decade, so I suppose that makes it worth checking out.
Enforced sounds like the right way to wrap up the week. The Virginia-based crossover group released a new track and video from the upcoming new album, Kill Grid. That drops on March 12th through Century Media. Take a look at the clip for “Curtain Fire” immediately below.

Falling In Reverse released a new track called “Carry On” that was originally recorded during the 2017 Coming Home sessions. You can stream it here if you feel so inclined.
Moving in a different stylistic direction, Venomous Concept also released a new track titled “Eliminate”. That one is taken from their upcoming full-length, Politics Versus The Erection, which is out August 28th through Season of Mist.
Ihsahn is hinting at something here. If I were to take a guess, I would say (and strongly hope) we are getting the follow-up EP to Telemark, which dropped earlier this year.
And we will mix things up with some Swiss metalcore to round out the evening. This is End of Silence with the new video for “Edge Of The Road”, taken from 2019’s Sail To The Sunset. Give it a watch below.

Better late than never.

My Dying Bride dropped a new trailer (the third of the series) for The Ghost Of Orion, which is out on March 6th through Nuclear Blast. In this clip, Aaron and Andrew get into the name and artwork of the album.
Thy Art Is Murder announce new drummer Jesse Beahler through this playthrough for “Human Target”. They have a North American tour kicking off in just a few weeks.
I’m gonna just use this moment to remind everyone that the first metal album ever dropped 50 years ago today. Yes, Black Sabbath’s self-titled debut is a half-century old. If it’s taken you until now to listen to it today, here ya go.
Here’s a new video from Falling In Reverse for “The Drug In Me Is Reimagined”. They’re on tour throughout North America now through basically the end of May, so if you want to catch them live, you’ll have plenty of chances.

I had to skip Canto yesterday to set up my new, and slightly less mediocre, sound system. Priorities!

Lacuna Coil and Apocalyptica are hitting North America next year. Those dates are in May and they cover a whole lot of places so odds are they will be in a city near you. Looks like tickets just on sale as well.
Could this be 13 seconds of new Ozzy Osbourne music? Um, yeah, probably. Either way, this is exciting! And I’m sure we will get a whole new song in the very near future… like Friday maybe! I love speculating.
Exmortus had an unfortunate accident in Canada after hitting a patch of ice. The van and trailer are totaled and the current tour is on hold. Super bummer. These guys are awesome. Help them out and whatnot.
How about another tour because I see it sitting in our inbox? Red Death are hitting the road with Enforced. Those are also North American dates, but a whole lot earlier in 2020. Like, January.
