Ahhhhh, so it’s going to be one of THOSE weeks. Coolcoolcool.

Let’s open up with one of my favorite German black metal projects in Imperium Dekadenz. They have a new album out on January 20 through Napalm Records titled Evermore, and today they revealed “November Monument”. It rules. Everything they do rules. Can’t wait for this release.
Fit For a King have announced a North American tour with Northlane, Alpha Wolf, and Kingdom of Giants. Those dates run from February 16 through March 19, and tickets go on sale this coming Friday at this location.
Xandria gave us a video for the The Wonders Still Awaiting title-track, which you can check out here. That new album is out on February 3 through Napalm Records.
Conjureth set January 23 as the release date for The Parasitic Chambers, which will be available through Memento Mori. Check out “Smothering Psalms” here.
Ne Obliviscaris unveiled their first new track in over five years. The music video for “Equus” is available below, the first sampling taken from Exul. That new album is set for a March 23 release through Season of Mist.

I know, I know. I’m late again. Deal with it.

Leading off, we have some post metal out of South Africa. Check out the video clip for “Paean Emerging” from Constellatia. That track is taken from Magisterial Romance, which drops on November 11th through Season of Mist.
From there, we have new stuff from Fit For A King. The Hell We Create drops on October 28th through Solid State Records, and in the build up to that release, they gave us a new video for “Times Like This”. Give it a watch, and catch them on tour through November.
New York’s All Out War have set February 3rd as the release date for Celestial Rot, which will be available through Translation Loss Records. To get a sense of what the future holds, check out “Glorious Devastation” over at Decibel.
We’re going to close out the day, and for me perhaps the week, with some Harakiri For The Sky. Along with the announcement of the re-recordings of their first two albums, they also unveiled a music video for their take on “Mad World”, which you can check out below. And for those looking for new editions of Harakiri For The Sky and Aokigahara, they’ll be out on December 9th through AOP Records.

I almost forgot it’s Saor release week! That’s a very good thing!

Speaking of which, Origins was premiered in full today. I had a break in between meetings and was able to check it out. It’s awesome. Can’t wait to get my hands on the vinyl.
Looks like we’ve got new Devin Townsend coming! Lightwork will be out through Inside Out Music on October 28th. Pre-order details coming soon, but for now you can check out this tour trailer which offers some sneak peaks.
Manticore have set July 15th as the international release date of Endless Scourge of Torment, which will be out through Hells Headbangers. Check out the recently released “Empty Eyes, Hollow Temples” here.

Happy Tuesday, everyone. I missed yesterday’s news because work was just that. much. fun.

Let’s start with a tour, because seeing those again still makes me happy. August Burns Red have announced a headlining tour in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Leveler. Those dates are in September and October, with support provided by Fit For A King, Erra, and Like Moths To Flames. Tickets go on sale Friday here, and feel free to pick up a copy of that record here.
Thy Catafalque dropped a new track today, and that’s always something worth sharing. This one is titled “Köszöntsd A Hajnalt”, another track taken from Vadak, which is set for a June 25th release through Season of Mist. Pre-order that record here… if you haven’t already.
The biggest news of the day probably came from Slipknot, who have announced Knotfest Iowa 2021, as well as a return to the studio. Most importantly, that festival is set for September 25th, and will feature the likes of Trivium, Faith No More, Megadeth, and so many more. Get all the details at this location.
The hits just keep coming today. We also got a new track from Zeal & Ardor, titled “Run”. That will be taken from a new, self-titled, album… details of which are still to come.

Another day, another drink. Is that a saying? It should be.

Devin Townsend stuff is coming! …in March from the looks of it. We also have a cover for Empath, which is kinda fun I suppose.
Sadly, High On Fire will no longer be doing the “Electric Messiah Tour”. Matt Pike’s Diabetes has left him at risk of losing a toe, or worse, and therefore is grounded for the time being. Needless to say, health comes first.
Looks like we can expect something from Mastodon in the near future as well. Apparently it’s quite heavy, or whatever. I like Mastodon, so it’s fine either way.
Japanese metal group Crystal Lake have dropped a new music video for “Lost in Forever”. You can catch them on tour over the next couple months with August Burns Red, Fit For A King, and Miss May I for their first tour of the U.S.
