CANTO: Tool, Mayhem, Fit For An Autopsy, and More

tool 2019

Friday Canto because why not?

  • So Fear Inoculum dropped today. I may have been one of those people in the local record shop at midnight to pick up a copy. I regret nothing. But on top of all that, Tool have announced a North American tour in October and November. And you can bet your ass I’m going to do everything I can to get to one of those shows.
  • Mayhem released a new song today, news that probably got lost in the shuffle of everything else going on. It is called “Worthless Abominations Destroyed”, and honestly I kinda dig it. I’m genuinely looking for Daemon, which is out on October 25h.
  • Municipal Waste have announced a new EP, called The Last Rager, and dropped a new music video for “Wave of Death”. That EP will be out on October 11th through Nuclear Blast.
  • Fit For An Autopsy have released a new music video today for “The Sea Of Tragic Beasts”. That particular number is the title track from their upcoming new album, out on October 25th, also through via Nuclear Blast. Check it out.

  • Leading off, here’s a tour announcement you won’t see every day: Moon Tooth has revealed that they and Tombs will be supporting…Fit for an Autopsy? And hey! They’re coming to my hometown, so I can do one of my patented “catch both the opening bands, then Irish exit before the headliner” routines!

Quickies: Chris Adler, WWE, Tuska Open Air, and a New Video from KEN Mode

Hello, everyone! What a great day it is. Ok not really. It’s still Monday. But there have been worse Mondays. What have we missed over the weekend?

I kinda like the mostly-spoken lyrics these guys use. It works for their sound. Anyway, that’s a wrap for today.
