Two days in a row? Yesh.

A couple new band announcements for Full Terror Assault Open Air 2019. The fifth installment of festival will welcome Unearth, Incite, and Prison. That event takes place September 4th to 7th in Cave In Rock, Illinois.
Demon Hunter have announced some dates in August and September. Nothing in this area of the country, which is fine. It’s ‘an evening with’ tour, so you’ll get a couple hours of DH with no opener. If you’re a DH fan, this is probably something you won’t want to miss.
Tau Cross is continuing to ride their momentum. Album number three, which will be called Messengers of Deception, drops on August 9th via Relapse Records. You can check out a new song called “Burn With Me” right now.
Doom metal out of Sweden that goes by the name of Silver Grime just released a video for “Healed by the Dark”. Let’s watch it… together.

Quickies: America’s First Real Open Air Metal Fest, Plus News from Solstafir, Gorgoroth, and Megadeth

Hey there, world. How the heck are ya? Just kidding. I don’t really care.

Solstafir will be coming back to the United States with Ancient VVisdom for a spell this coming April and May. I am very seriously considering taking a day off of work to participate in this.
Gorgoroth announce plans for a new album for the first time in forever. Instinctus Bestialis will be out June 9th. Because, well, Satan. See what I did there?
Looks our old pals in Megadeth have been auditioning a new guitarist. I feel like they’re still missing an instrument… hmmm… Well, work on a new album kicks off later this month apparently.
This is huge! ‘Murica is getting its first ever open air metal festival this summer! Full Terror Assault is coming to Cave-In-Rock, Illinois early September. I’m in!
