Despite the lawsuit mentioned yesterday, Five Finger Death Punch have announced a tour with Shinedown. The United State, October and November. Mostly places not on the east coast.
Whitechapel are gearing up for the release of their next album, and some new details were released earlier today. Mark of the Blade will be released on June 24th.
In a bit of unfortunate news, In This Moment have been forced to cancel an upcoming European tour. Guitarist Chris Howorth injured his neck recently and has head limited movement.
Intronaut are just not… done… touring. July and August will see them cross the United States again, this time with Entheos and Moon Tooth.
Unlocking The Truth have released their first single, and it’s called “Take Control.”

Starting with a tour. In This Moment will be hitting the United States with Hellyeah on something called The Hell Pop Tour. Shows run through the summer.
Slipknot is releasing a new photobook called “Dysfunctional Family Portraits”. I assume it will be entertaining.
Unlocking The Truth‘s debut album will finally be coming around soon. Chaos will be out on June 17th. Remember when they turned down a large record contract awhile back? Me either.
Stone Sour have returned to the studio to release a new album. No word on an expected release date just yet. Duh.

CANTO: A new Slayer video, non-updates from Tool, and more

There haven’t been any non-updates from Tool in awhile, so let’s start with that. In the words of frontman Maynard James Keenan, the band is “struggling to move forward”, even though it sounds like they are otherwise on the same page. Ok, then.
In This Moment have lost their drummer. Tom Hane has left because apparently he is unhappy from a creative standpoint.
Not only will they be playing Chicago Open Air, but Rammstein have also announced a Canadian show! They will be playing Festival d’ete de Quebec on July 17th.
Minneapolis is getting a new stadium. Why does that matter? Because Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, and Volbeat will be playing there. On August 20th. I think.
Hey a new Slayer music video for “You Against You”. Let’s watch it. I heard it’s gnarly.
