Ever wonder what a mash-up of blackgaze and post-punk would sound like if done with Irish flair? Two weeks ago God Alone struck out on Cosmonaut releasing their debut EP God Alone. and there’s no need to wonder anymore. It’s a rousing set of songs that is atmospherically uplifting at times (“Madting”), and painfully biting at others (“Feeling On Tic”), but most of all it has a world music feel to it and not strictly the sounds from their homeland.
