CANTO: Black Anvil, Covet, Beartooth, and More
I own a very needy dog. Casual FYI.
- Black Anvil have signed on with Season of Mist, through which they will release their fifth studio album. This is good. As Was came out way back in 2017, so I say we’re due.
- Primitive Man frontman Ethan McCarthy has announced a new solo album under the Many Blessings header titled Emanation Body. That will be out on May 29th through Translation Loss Records. The first new track is hiding in that link somewhere as well.
- I want to see more bands doing stuff like this because it’s fun but also a good thing. Beartooth has made a “stay a home” merch bundle available that features necessities like a blanket, cards, bottle openers, etc. And the proceeds benefit Musicares Covid-19 relief fund.
- Yo, check out this new video from Covet for “Nero”. Their upcoming full length, technicolor, will be out on June 5th through Triple Crown Records.
