CANTO: Sylvaine, Dark Funeral, Destruction, and More

Today has been such a long week.

  • We’ll lead off with the new track from Sylvaine for “Nova”. That’s the title-from from the new album, which is set for a March 4th release through Season of Mist.
  • Thrash metal veterans Destruction have announced a North American headlining tour this coming April and May. Support will come from Nervosa and Sunlord, and you can find the full schedule here.
  • NYC experimental tech death collective Aeviterne dropped a new track today, titled “The Gaunt Sky”. That’s taken from The Ailing Facade, which drops on March 18th through Profound Lore.
  • Death/industrial outfit To End It All have a brief run of shows over on that other coast this coming April, which I kind of wish I could be part of. Learn up on those dates here.
  • I’ve made a habit of closing with new Dark Funeral as their tracks have become available. No different today. Below is the clip for “Nightfall”. Yet another reminder that We Are The Apocalypse is out on March 18th through Century Media.

I woke, and realized it was February and I had slept on killer old school death metal releases from Frozen Soul, Nervosa, and Apshyx. Rising from my decrepit tomb of a bed I exhaled a chilled breath and decided to rectify the situation.
