CANTO: Lamb of God, August Burns Red, Rammstein, and More

LambofGod2020

What are we on? Week 6? 7? Is anything even real anymore?

  • Lamb of God are the latest to announce a delay in the release of a new album. Their self-titled album will now drop on June 19th, five weeks later than the originally scheduled release. Understandable, and at least we don’t have to wait too much longer when all is said and done.
  • Rammstein released a statement at the end of last week regarding their upcoming stadium tour. While not confirming the shows were going to be canceled or postponed, there’s no doubt that might end up being the reality. They’re doing their due diligence, and we will need to stay tuned.
  • Here’s some drum cam footage of Abbath‘s “Bridge of Spasms” performed in Poland as part of their Outstrider European tour earlier this year. Honestly, I will take any live footage I can get at this point.
  • August Burns Red dropped a cover of NOFX‘s “Linoleum”, with the help of Shane Told of Silverstein. Not a bad way to spend some quarantine time. A reminder that their latest album, Guardians, is out now on Fearless Records.

Quickies: Belarus goes Metallica… and it’s wonderful!

Aerosmith. Now filed under the ‘Old as Dirt’ category.

I can dig it!
