CANTO: Creeping Death, Ingested, Attila, and More

Coming at you a little late. Another one of THOSE days.

Creeping Death is supporting Boundless Domain on the road this Summer, with North American dates throughout June and July. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Their highly anticipated new album is set for a June 16 release through MNRK Heavy.
Attila dropped a new single, “Bite Your Tongue”, if you’re in need of a little metalcore in your day. A visualizer for that one can be seen here. They’ve got some live dates in May coming up as well.
If you can’t wait until tomorrow, Defiled are streaming The Highest Level in full a day early. Give is a listen here. That one is out… will be out… through Season of Mist.
Closing out we have one of my favorites, Ingested, with a new clip for “With Broken Wings”. That track, of course, is taken from Ashes Lie Still, which is out through Metal Blade. Their North American headline tour, where they’ll be joined by Devourment, Extermination Dismemberment, and Organectomy, kicks off next week.

CANTO: Nite, Dying Fetus, Ingested, and More

I actually feel like I accomplished something today… weird for a Monday.

Couple tours to highlight today. First we have Dying Fetus and Suicide Silence co-headlining a tour with support from Born of Osiris, Aborted, Sanguisugabogg, and more. Those dates run from April 7 through April 30, and tickets go on sale this coming Friday,
And then Nite announced a tour that had me really excited at first… until I realized it was a hilariously termed California world tour that only includes four dates in February. They’ll be supported by Persekutor. I am extremely jealous of anyone that can make one of these dates. Nite rules.
The last tour that emerged today will feature Ingested, supported by Devourment, Extermination Dismemberment, and Organectomy. Those dates start May 4th in Brooklyn, and wrap up a month later in Cambridge. That lineup is going to be bonkers. Tickets can be found at this link.
We’ll move forward with some German sludge. Obelyskkh revealed the video for the title-track from their new album over at The Obelisk. The Ultimate Grace Of God is out on January 27 through Exile On Mainstream Records.
Finally, a new video from Sanhedrin for “Scythian Women” can be found below. That track is taken from Lights On, which dropped last March through Metal Blade.

Initial Descent: July 3 – 9, 2022

Here in the States we’re celebrating Independence Day which means a lot of things that…you can look up on the interwebs. These days, it’ll be celebrated with tons of fireworks that will go on for far too long, all the breweries will be kept afloat for the next month or so just off this one day, and many of us will have the day off. Whether you celebrate or not, today also means a fresh new batch of metal releases that kicks off with a trio of death metal albums; first up is a vicious one from Altars, second up uncovers some delicious deathgrind from Defect Designer, and the last of this trifecta is of the brutal death and slam variety from Organectomy. Then we’ve got a wicked stoner doom effort from Telekinetic Yeti, and, as always, a long list of other releases worthy of tracking down. Whatever you’re doing today, enjoy, and we’ll be seeing you here throughout the week.
