CANTO: Accept, Lamb of God, Lybica, and More

Still shaking out the FITM cobwebs. In a good way. I wish I could say it’s nice to be home and back at work but… I’m not so sure it is.

  • Leading, we have news surrounding the first U.S. Accept tour in a decade. The dates run from September 29 through October 29, and include some meet and greet packages. Get the full scoop right here.
  • In other North American tour news, we have Wormhole, who will be joining the Shadow Of Intent headlining tour this coming October with the likes of Enterprise Earth and Inferi. All the dates can be found here.
  • Lybica, the new project featuring Killswitch Engage drummer Justin Foley on guitar, have revealed details surrounding the self-titled debut album. The release date is set for September 16, and it will be available through Metal Blade. Check out the video for “Manifest” right now.
  • This performance video for “Hyperventilating” from Voyager is also worth checking out. They’ll be releasing the full virtual performance, A Voyage Through Time, on August 26 through Season of Mist.
  • Lamb of God unveiled a video for “Omens” today, the title-track from their upcoming new album. Check it out below. That record drops on October 7 through Epic Records, and can be pre-ordered here.

CANTO: Cannibal Corpse, Igorrr, Khemmis, and More

Cannibal Corpse

One more day…

  • Emma Ruth Rundle, who had just been announced as a performer at FITM 2022, dropped a new track titled “Blooms of Oblivion”. That’s another one taken from Engine of Hell, which is out on November 5th through Sargent House.
  • Khemmis have announced some West Coast dates next January, supporting Deceiver. Not a thing I can do unfortunately, but tickets go on sale Friday for those that can. As a reminder, that album is out on November 19th through Nuclear Blast.
  • The primary tour announcement of the day, however, came from Cannibal Corpse, who announced a run of shows in February and March with the likes of Whitechapel, Revocation, and Shadow Of Intent. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
  • American Teeth have announced that their debut album, We Should Be Having Fun, will be out on October 29th through Fearless Records, along with a new video for the track “Kickflip”. Give that a listen right here.
  • And we’ll wrap up the day with the new live video from Igorrr for “Camel Dancefloor”. That footage is from the Pol’And’Rock Festival from back in July. Give it a watch below.

CANTO: Green Carnation, Hatebreed, Whitechapel, and More

The Ocean

A couple long days in the books. A couple long days until mountains.

  • Yo, check out this lineup for UK Tech-Fest. The Ocean, Black Crown Initiate, Fit For An Autopsy… There is zero chance of me making this festival (July 2nd – 6th), but if I could I absolutely would.
  • Hatebreed have announced a headlining 2020 tour here in the U.S. The dates are in May and support is in the form of After The Burial, Havok, and Creeping Death. Tickets can be found here this Friday.
  • One more tour for today. Whitechapel have announced the Burn To Emerge U.S. tour this coming May and June. Support on that one will be from As I Lay Dying and Shadow Of Intent. I will 100% NOT be attending this one.
  • Green Carnation have revealed new album details. It’s been 14 years since the last album, but May 8th will bring us Leaves of Yesteryear through Season of Mist. You can check out the title-track right now.
