Good morning ladies, fellas, and the people that don’t give a fuck. We’re going to keep this short and sweet today because once again I am behind on time, somehow. Even though my work week got cut short (thank you massive server error), it only meant I had to spend my free time doing all the important errands I had been putting off. But now there’s breakfast, coffee, my car doesn’t make quite as many weird sounds as it used to, and of course there’s good music to get me pumped on yet another rainy Southern California day. Lets hope this gets your weekend off to a good start too.

Killswitch Engage have announced the title of their upcoming record… Incarnate. It is expected to drop sometime next March.
Album sales. Yes, even this late in 2015. Notable showings for Intervals and SikTh.
The Choosing Death Fest lineup has been announced. The festival backed by Decibel will feature Dying Fetus, Nails, Misery Index, and more.
Wait, wait, wait… Could this. Possibly. Mean Panopticon songs may be gracing live settings soon? Holy. Shit.
So. Solstafir dropped a new music video for “Midaftann”. Here it is. More thoughts from me at a later date.

Hey, another last-minute, big-name album on the horizon. Congratulations to Sunn O))) on leaving things ’til the VERY last minute!

Y’know, I really shouldn’t slag these December releases off, because a certain such release from last year ended up being one of my favorite albums of 2014. But still, generally speaking…why, bands? Why? I promise you, the first 11 months of the year are just as good as December. Seriously.

Anyway, Corey and I are in full-on Best-of-’15 mode on the podcast ’til the end of the year, so barring something totally mind-blowing, we likely won’t be talking about any of these. (Sorry, kids, our lists are more or less set.) But that said, there’s still some stuff that might be worth a listen or two. Take a look:

CANTO: Mayhem confirmed for MDF, new SikTh, and more

Anybody else still hungover from this past weekend? Jesus Christ.

Ok, so here’s the final final Maryland Deathfest 2016 lineup. I think. Mayhem was added as a headliner. I’m lukewarm to that concept. They’ll be playing De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas in full.
Motörhead had to cancel additional shows due to Phil Campbell’s health. It looks like they will be resuming their tour tomorrow, though. Which is good news. For Europe.
Hail of Bullets is parting ways with vocalist Martin Van Drunen. The band isn’t breaking up but I assume this is still significant in some way.
I don’t like college football that much, but here’s some cool footage of Slash beasting the National Anthem before the USC/UCLA game this past Saturday.

CANTO: A new SikTh track, a new Cradle of Filth tour, and more

I’m about to leave to go see Deafheaven and Tribulation. So, yeah.

Starting with a new tour, Cradle of Filth will be touring North America with Ne Oblivscaris. The tour begins in January and will run through early March.
You guys remember He is Legend? After releasing Heavy Fruit last year, they are attempting to return with a new album sooner rather than later. And they are crowdfunding to make it happen.
Dr. Know, guitarist for Bad Brains, has been hospitalized and is currently on life support. Information is limited, but our thoughts go out to his friends and family.
I mentioned the Romanian club that erupted in flames due to a pyrotechnics malfunction yesterday. Today it’s bee revealed that the owner’s have been arrested.
It’s been almost a decade since SikTh last released new music. Luckily enough, you can hear a new track right here. It’s called “Philistine Philosophies.”
