Alright, we’ve got some tours to share. We’ll start with Origin, Abysmal Dawn, Tombs, and Killitorous. Those are May and June dates, and yes, that is a stacked bill. Factoring in their adjacent tour with Misery Index, and it’s going to be a beast of a year for Origin. Tickets are available here.
And then we have Darkest Hour, who are bringing Deliver Us on the road this coming July. Support will be in the form of Toxic Holocaust, Zao, and Bloodlet on select dates. Tickets are on sale now at this location.
Wardruna have released a new video for the live version of “Skugge”. Check it out here. First Flight of the White Raven is out on April 22nd, and can be pre-ordered here.
We’ll wrap up with some Swedish folk metal, in the form of Månegarm. The new video for “En snara av guld” is available below, the second single taken from Ynglingaättens Öde. That album is out on April 15th through Napalm Records… a label that owes me an email and two albums I ordered last year. Casual FYI.

I have acquired a dog named Athena that looks like Abbath. Life is weird.

Converge have announced the first Bloodmoon shows in the United States. The Bloodmoon collaboration will be performing April 9th in Boston and April 10th in NYC, with Caspian supporting both nights. Tickets go on sale Friday at this location.
Ignite have also announced some U.S. dates in May. They cover a lot of ground between May 5th and the 15th, supporting their upcoming new self-titled album. That drops on March 25th through Century Media and can be pre-ordered here.
Abraham released a new single and video today, titled “Blood Moon, New Alliance”. That’s taken from their new album, Débris de Mondes Perdus, which is out on February 25th through Pelagic Records, which you can purchase here.
In case you somehow weren’t aware, Abysmal Dawn is releasing a new EP on Friday titled Nightmare Frontier, which will be out through Season of Mist. Better still, you can stream the album in full right now… just in case you can’t wait a couple extra days.
Absent In Body, a project featuring current and former member of Amenra, Neurosis, and Sepultura, have announced their debut album… something we should all be excited about. Plague God will be out on March 25th through Relapse Records. Check out the video for the first single, “The Acres/The Ache” below.

I had three primary things to do today… and I got through exactly one of them. So it goes.

Abysmal Dawn are releasing a new EP, Nightmare Frontier, on February 4 through Season of Mist. Check out the first single and video from that effort, titled “A Nightmare Slain”, right here.
Another new album announcement came by way of Near Death Condition, the Swiss death metal project. Ascent from the Mundane will be out on February 12th through Unique Leader. Check out the new single, “The Bridal Chamber”, here.
Nothing but album announcements today… deal with it. Author & Punisher have set February 11th as the release date for Krüller. That one will be out through Relapse Records. Check out “Drone Carrying Dread” right here.
Closing on a Pelagic note. SOM dropped a new video for “Moment”, a track taken from their upcoming new album, The Shape of Everything. That one drops on January 21st and can be acquired here.

I feel like I accomplished slightly more than usual today… which means I’m ready for a beer.

Let’s open with Stormkeep, who are streaming the entirety of Tales of Othertime ahead of its release on Friday. That album will be out through Ván Records. Yes, the vinyl pre-order has been sold out there for quite some time already, but we’re keeping our eyes open for additional distributors.
Abysmal Dawn is hitting the road with Obscura this coming February and March for a run across the United States. They’ll be supporting 2020’s Phylogensis, and I think tickets are on sale now? I don’t know, just go to the venue links and give it a shot.
Shape of Despair unveiled new album details, and a fresh single. Return to the Void drops on February 25th through Season of Mist, and pre-orders are up at this location. Give “Reflection in Slow Time” a watch and listen right here… if you feel like having a doomy sort of evening.

Wasn’t much going on yesterday, but fortunately there’s plenty to share on today!

Cult of Luna dropped a lot on us. They have a new EP out on February 5th titled The Raging River. Taking it a step further, that will be out through Red Creek, the band’s newly created record label. Metal Blade will be handling the physical distribution.
Dark Tranquillity will be performing Moments in its entirety during a livestream event scheduled for November 21st. Tickets can be scooped up here. Also, a reminder that the album itself is out on November 20th through Century Media.
Oh look, Abysmal Dawn covered the classic Candlemass track “Bewitched”. This is on my list of things to check out later on tonight… or when I’m avoiding work tomorrow. TBD.
Harakiri For The Sky released a new music video for “Sing For The Damage We’ve Done”, which features Neige of Alcest. Mӕre is set for a January 29th release through AOP Records.
