The 411th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist was wondering if the kids still say “What’s the 4-1-1″? It would certainly be better than all this ” 6-7″ thing that took me forever to understand. At least we have things like Testament covering classic Metallica to kick off the weekend. Oh, you wanted some new music? Fret not: we also got new tracks from two bands who have been away for far too long: Coroner and Mastiff are here to break your bones and steal your metal hearts.

The rest of the 9C crew throw an assortment of hats into the playlist ring, including new Hellripper, some Ruins of Beverast and Lychgate, Skyclad, and whatever Dis Fig is – I can only assume someone who’s now incarcerated for breaking the law of only allowing His Royal Majesty Prince use letters in place of words in his song titles (look it up before the current administration abolishes it along with everything else). There’s also something called Truckstop Dickpill which is hilarious and something you should never partake in – trust me on this one…
