I really can’t recall experiencing a bad time at one of the shows on the Decibel Magazine Tour. It’s an annual tour that always brings the big names, yet still manages to live up to the lofty expectations. After skipping 2015’s Boston date, I made it a point to not miss out two years in a row. And then the lineup was announced: Abbath, High On Fire, Skeletonwitch, and Tribulation. Nope, there was no chance in hell I was missing this show. I was graciously given the opportunity to cover this weeks #tbt post, and given the fact that a VIP experience with Behemoth for both myself and Dan is going to round this week off, there is only one direction I was going to take this in. At this point, if you haven’t figured out that Behemoth is my favorite band by a distance (in part thanks to The Satanist), you have not been following us closely enough. Friday will be the sixth time I’ve seen these guys live, but for this Throwback, I’d like to revisit a performance they gave back in 2012.
