And tomorrow I’m back on the highway. As the great Limp Bizkit would say, “keep rollin’, rollin’, rollin’, rollin’…” And that’s enough of that.

  • DevilDriver are releasing a massive box set through BMG titled Clouds Over California. It will feature vinyl or CD offerings for their debut self-titled album, The Fury Of Our Maker’s Hand, The Last Kind Words, Pray For Villains, and Beast.
  • Significant news emerging from Wailin Storms today. To start, the new full length, The Silver Snake Unfolds, will be out on July 22nd through Gilead Media. Check out “Broken Into Three” over at Brooklyn Vegan. Better yet, they also announced some tour dates in July and August. Get the full scoop here.
  • White Ward unveiled False Light in full, ahead of its June 17th release through Debemur Morti Productions. Give it a listen here.

I’m running my fifth marathon on Sunday. Yay?

  • Big news from Metallica, regarding 2020 plans at least. They will be headlining five U.S. festivals next summer, and are planning on performing two nights at each of them. Holy moly. Those festivals are: Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Epicenter, and Welcome to Rockville.
  • So this is hilarious. Cattle Decapitation had their artwork for Death Atlas (out 11/29) ripped off by rapper Teddy.YG. Like, bad. As in, Mr. YG didn’t even remove the Cattle Decap logo or album title or anything… just… layered his name over it. In a fun turn of events, Cattle Decapitation then decided to sell a shirt with the image and Instagram exchange on it. Honestly, this is must-have.
  • In some serious bummer news, DevilDriver had to pull out of their upcoming Megacruise performance because Dez Fafara’s wife has been diagnosed with cancer. He’s taking the time to be with her, very much understandably. Positive vibes their way.
  • And closing with a bit of a lighter note, The Amity Affliction have released a live video for the new single “All My Friends Are Dead”. They are currently touring with Sum 41.
