It sure doesn’t feel like the holiday season. Except for the stress… that feels familiar.

Dread Sovereign are dropping a new album, titled Alchemical Warfare, on January 15th through Metal Blade Records. Check out that new video for “Nature Is The Devil’s Church” while you’re at it.
Nightfall has shared a performance video for “As Your God is Failing Once Again”, which comes with the announcement of some reissues. Their back catalog will be released on vinyl and CD through Season of Mist in the first two months of 2021.
The Deviant released a new single from their upcoming new album. This one is called “Son of Dawn”, and it’s taken from Rotting Dreams of Carrion, which is out on December 4th through Soulseller Records.
Sick Of It All has released the sixth, and final, video from their Quarantine Sessions series. This one is for “Deep State”, and you can check it out immediately below.

Alright, let’s see how much I can catch up on.

For starters, we have plenty of tours to pick through today. Let’s start with Cloak and Horrendous, who have a brief run of shows coming up in March and April. Fortunately, my city is included in that list, so I will 100% be in attendance.
I got this notification through at least three press releases in the inbox today. Steve Von Till is going to be a feature performer at Fire In The Mountains this year. At this point, my sadness about not going could not be any more extreme.
Alright moving on… to another tour. And another tour that I cannot miss. Spectral Voice have some upcoming dates with and without Krypts. Those are all in April and I have two dates to choose from in my area! Hot damn!
And the final tour announcement comes from Agnostic Front, who have an upcoming co-headlining North American tour with Sick Of It All. Guess when those dates are? April, yes. But also May! It’s slightly different!
Finally, let’s tie all this up with a video from Norwegian black metallers Crest of Darkness. “The God Of Flesh” would be the title track from last year’s record (out via My Kingdom Music).

How long has it been? Over a week? Jesus, I’m sorry about that. Blame marathon training.

As always, let’s start with a tour. And there is a big one to mention today. Revocation are co-headlining a North American tour with Voivod. Supporting acts include Psycroptic, Skeletal Remains, and Conjurer. Seriously… that shit is stacked. Dates are this coming fall.
Another tour, also large. Municipal Waste and Napalm Death, with Sick of it All and Take Offense. Dates are in October, and as it happens my local date for this tour is the same weekend/festival as the tour above. But it’s in Worcester. Attendance likelihood: 20%.
Horrendous fans out there may be interested in their two hour Gimme Radio show that starts tonight at 7:00. They’ll have their own playlist, fielding live questions from fans, and all kinds of fun stuff. And if you miss it, there’s a re-air on Sunday.
Amon Amarth dropped a new video for “Mjolner, Hammer of Thor”. You know, the most Amon Amarth-iest song title out of the all the Amon Amarth song titles.
