SpiritWorld! That may not mean much to you (yet…) but over here it’s cause for celebration. Both Fearless Editor™ Josh and myself were over the moon for the band’s “Slayer meets the Wild West” of 2022’s DEATHWESTERN, so having a new single out singles very, very fun things ahead. It got me in the mood for more trashy death goodness in the same vein, so we’re kicking off the 365th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist with some classic Power Trip as well.

The rest of the 9C gang participate in their own way, bringing tracks from the likes of The Body, Mammoth, a double shot from the recent Refused compilation courtesy of Gel and Cold Cave, new Wardruna and Ungfell, and a lot more. Plus I decided to wrap the week up with some classic cuts that have been burning a hole in my brain lately.
