Leading off, Morbid Angel frontman Steve Tucker has indicated that the band will not be playing any David Vincent-era songs on their upcoming tour dates. That “whoosh” you just heard was my already-limited interest in seeing them at MDF nosediving even more.

On Friday, as per usual, a whole bunch of bands dropped new albums, including Mastodon and Falls of Rauros. Also as per usual, you can check out Josh’s Initial Descent post for the full breakdown.
So that “Batushka dropping out of MDF” speculation we posted on Friday? Well, it’s pretty much confirmed; on Saturday, the festival organizers revealed that Uada had been tapped to fill the Poles’ slot at the Festival. Still a bummer, but they could have done far, far worse as replacements go.
