    • Leading off, Baroness have been announced as the headliner of something called the Brewtal Beer Fest out in Pittsburgh. They’re the only band on the bill that I really could give two shits about, but hey, at least there’ll be some good breweries!

    • Leading off, Eluveitie — or as some may know them “Chrigel Glanzmann’s Quest to Lose as Many Band Members as Humanly Possible” — has announced the long-awaited sequel to the acoustic Evocation album. The second installment, Evocation II: Pantheon, drops August 18 on Nuclear Blast, about six years after everyone stopped caring.

    • Leading off, Rammstein‘s Friday evening set at the Rock Am Ring festival was cancelled as the festival was forced to evacuate due to concerns over a possible terrorism threat. Thankfully, nothing came of the threat and the festival was able to resume the next day.
