I’ll ask yet again… who will I be seeing next July at Red Eagle Campground?

  • Because Fire In The Mountains announced the latest round of 2026 bands, which includes the likes of Baroness, Dreadnought, The Ruins of Beverast and more. The greatest festival on Earth is only getting better, my friends.
  • Somewhat related! Weft, the progressive (black/death/etc) metal project from Panopticon’s Charlie Anderson, revealed “The Hull” today. The debut album from that project, The Splintered Oar, will be out on December 19th through Bindrune Recordings.
  • Thrash metal outfit Nukem announced that their sophomore full-length album, The Grave Remains, will be out on April 10th through Redefining Darkness. Preorders are live, and you can hear “Random Acts of Violence” here.
  • Purity Through Fire announced December 6th as the release date for the debut album from Velmorth, Feral Dominion. Give the title track a listen here.
  • And to wrap up the week, we have some metalcore in the form of Breathe In. A video for their new track “Misfortune’s Hand” is available below. If streaming is your choice, even if it is less fun, you can do that here.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
