The snow has officially fallen. Not upset.

Let’s start with this video of Trivium’s Matt Heafy jamming out with Sepultura for “Slave New World”. That’s part of the SepulQuarta series, which you may have heard of once or twice.
Sumac surprised us with a new single today. “Two Beasts” is an 18-minute behemoth that is all of the heavy and all of the experimental we could hope for. Scoop that monster up on their Bandcamp page right now.
Bask dropped a couple riff and beat rundown videos over on their YouTube channel today. The clips feature tracks “Ramble Beyond” and “Three White Feet”, the latter of which was taken from 2019’s release through Season of Mist, III.
Into Eternity dropped a new song, “Nuclear”, over the weekend. Feel free to stream or download it here, and be sure to check out the playthrough video immediately below. We can also expect a full-length sometime next year, which definitely does not suck.

CANTO: Bask, Wednesday 13, Wailin Storms, and More

I find myself working way more hours, and drinking way more beers, in these times. Correlation = causation.

Bask have announced the rescheduled dates for their 2020 North American tour, in direct support of Elder. If all goes according to plan, the tour will take place in November and December. A total of 21 dates over a span of three weeks and change.
Oh man, another tour update! I’ve missed these. Wednesday 13 are planning a massive North American tour through August, September, and into October, which is a bit more ambitious. The Haxans will be in support.
Wailin Storms dropped the title-track, “Rattle”, along with a video, today over at PopMatters. That record drops on May 15th through Gilead Media and is available at this location.
And we’ll close with a new track and video from Umbra Vitae. This one is called “Mantra of Madness”, taken from Shadow of Life, their debut out May 1st through Deathwish.

CANTO: Electric Wizard, Bask, Exhorder, and More

Probably the last one this week, let’s be real.

Electric Wizard have announced a brief run of shows with Midnight in the eastern area of the U.S. Those dates are in November, and sadly I am not in town for the date closest to me. Booooooo
Bask revealing a whole lot of stuff today. Most importantly, their third full length album (Bask III), and first through Season of Mist, will be out on November 8th. Better yet, we also get some new material. Check out the video for “New Dominion” right now.
I enjoy Exhorder. And Exhorder just dropped a new album trailer where they talk about some of the topics on the upcoming new album, Mourn the Southern Skies. It’s out on September 20th. BRB gonna watch this real quick…
Bloodbather, not to be confused with Bloodbath, have recently signed on to Rise Records. Naturally, they are working on new material, and while we don’t have anything to share just yet, you can take a look at the new video for the re-released track called “End”.
