IIVII, the ambient drone project led by Josh Graham, is releasing the Obsidian EP on vinyl for the first time through Consouling Sounds for Record Store Day 2021 (June 12th). In conjunction, Consouling Sounds will also be hosting a free pre-recorded streaming event here.
If These Trees Could Talk, one of my favorites, re-issued Above the Earth, Below the Sky, Red Forest, and The Bones of a Dying World on vinyl through Metal Blade. They’ll be out officially on July 9th, but you can get your pre-order on at this location. Some fun variants in there… who knows what I’ll end up with.
Born of Osiris have announced a new album, Angel or Alien, which is set for a July 2nd release through Sumerian Records. Check out the new video for the title-track below, and pre-save/order/whatever the album here.
Wristmeetrazor also dropped announced a new album announcement. Theirs is scheduled for a June 11th release through Prosthetic Records, and it will be titled Replica of a Strange Love. They released the first track from that album today, “Last Tango in Paris”, which you can check out at that same link.
Ok, only one more album announcement today. I promise. (No I don’t.) The latest from Artillery, simply titled X, will be out on May 7th through Metal Blade Records. I know this may come as a shock, but it’s their tenth full-length album. Check out the new single, “In Thrash We Trust”, right now.
