Someone launch this week right into the sun. At least it’s almost over. Now what did I miss out there today (yesterday)?

  • Of course this is the first thing my eyes fall on. Cold Cave are releasing a new LP on October 15 titled Passion Depression, and today they premiered “Siren Song”. They’ve been rolling out new tracks going back to March, so we’re happy to see the album details alongside this one.
  • Ripped To Shreds things? Definitely I’m jumping to that next. They’re releasing a new album on September 27 through Relapse Records titled Sanshi, and “Force Fed” can be heard here now. Fun fact: Everything Andrew Lee does is awesome.
  • Uhhhh what next? Black metal? Is there any black metal to be found? Yes! Horna are releasing their 11th studio album on September 13 through W.T.C. Productions titled Nyx – Hymnejä Yölle. Give “Hymni I” a listen here.
  • And some doom. Hail Darkness offered their debut full-length, Death Divine, through their own Vatican Records, and marked the release with a video for “Goat of Mendes”.
  • Born Of Osiris are up next. And, well, up last. A video for “In Desolation” can be found below, which was released through Sumerian Records. Catch them on the road with Jinjer, kicking off later in September (with some festival appearances along the way).

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
