Ran the trails for the first time this year. It was awesome. But I am also now in pain. Which, in a way, is also awesome.
- Leading off we have Bay Area progressive rockers Grayceon and their new album announcement. Then The Darkness will be out on July 25th through Translation Loss Records, and a video for the opening track “Thousand Year Storm” can be seen over at The Obelisk.
- Next up, Blackbraid. The Indigenous black metal project will be embarking on a North American run in September and October, with support from Lamp of Murmuur and Dödsrit. This tour, of course, follows an FITM performance that I am very excited about. Another reminder, Blackbraid III is out on August 8th.
- Blackened death/doom collective Witherer have set July 20th as the release date for their debut full-length, Shadow Without A Horizon, which will be out through Hypaethral Records. Preorder that, and stream “Solar Collapse Mandala”, right here.
- Fallujah revealed the third sample from Xenotaph, titled “Step Through The Portal And Breathe”. If you need a reminder, their new album is out on June 13th through Nuclear Blast.
- And in closing, we have new Born of Osiris. Their forthcoming new album, Through Shadows, is out on July 11th through Sumerian Records. Check out the clip for the title track below.
