Welcome to the weekend y’all. I for one am beyond stoked its here. Even if I’m gonna be running around buying (somehow) more furniture for my apartment, it still feels like I’ve got some more breathing room. The last couple days I barely had a minute to myself to unwind, but I’m excited to kick back with some tunes and fumble my way through vague Ikea instructions. And boy do we have tunes today. In addition to new albums from Ossuarium, Soen, Ithaca, and more heavy hitters, we bring you our own curated mix from across the sea of genres, for whatever mood your weekend takes. Click play, and don’t forget to double check to make sure you aren’t missing any hardware for your new computer desk.

Death, black, sludge, grind, doom, powerviolence, post, punk, hardcore, d-beat, noise — it’s all extreme and it’s all metal, in one form or another. I’ve never gotten the hullabaloo over who’s more kvlt or extreme or METAL. And honestly I don’t care if it hits that particular itch for me. Bottom line, don’t close yourself off narrow-mindedly — experiment and let yourself go a bit, if not you will miss some really amazing stuff. Anyway, we’ve got another loaded playlist for you to kick off a new week with. Head over to our YouTube channel and subscribe then click that play button immediately below to get your fill of what we were listening to last week. Coffee cheers and we’ll be seeing you, here, throughout the week. Continue reading
The guys are back from MDF 2016 and ready to recap all of their shenanigans on this special Maryland Deathcast! To do that, they walk through all four days of the festival and highlight their favorite sets (including Dragged Into Sunlight, Horrendous, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin and more), then share some field recordings they gathered with Corey’s fancy new mic on Sunday. Plus, as always, a Heaven and Hell portion.
All that and…not all that much more in Episode 44, but check it out anyway!
