CANTO: Corrosion Of Conformity, Ministry, Tool, and more

It’s been awhile. And it will be awhile until we do this again. Enjoy it while you’ve got it.

  • Corrosion Of Conformity have been releasing a No Cross No Crown video series, and part four is now available. These guys will be on the road the next few months and the new album drops January 12th. So yeah, do that.
  • Ministry have announced a run of shows with Chelsea Wolfe next March and April. Their new album, AmeriKKKant, drops March 9th. Political metal! Hurray! There’s a new song called “Antifa” in there somewhere, too.
  • I can’t believe I’m still sharing these damn rumors. Danny Carey seems pretty confident that a new Tool album will come our way in 2018. You know who isn’t confident? Literally EVERYONE ELSE.
  •  Finally, here’s an impressive new track from Harakiri For The Sky called “You Are The Scars”. 10+ minutes of post-black metal awesomeness. Their new album, Arson, will be out February 16th.

    • Leading off, in “tour packages that don’t make sense,” we’ve got Stone Sour and Steel Panther! Because reasons. Anyway, they’ll be going around to these places in September and October.

Good morning, it’s time to metal. It’s a quiet week here at Nine Circles, but is that the case around the metal world? WE SHALL SEE. Here’s some stuff you might have missed from yesterday:

    • Leading off, Revolver (I know, I know) has a new feature on Ministry during which Al Jourgensen describes how the band blew much of their $750,000 advance for the Psalm 69 record on drugs. Let’s go live to San Diego for a reaction!!!
