Yeah, I’m not doing this tomorrow.

I’ve been a fan of all these Rammstein things emerging recently. This time we get a music video teaser! Nuns are involved apparently.
Updates from Kvelertak, which is always a good thing. In this interview we get a closer at how things are going with the new vocalist, the status of the next album, and plenty more. Swell.
Looks like Brian Johnson is back working with AC/DC and there’s a new album coming. At least, according to grindcore group Terrorizer.
Allegaeon sounds like a good way to round off the day. Their next album, Apoptosis, will be out on April 19th. Better yet, we can hear a new track, called “Stellar Tidal Disruption”, right now.

CANTO: Venom, Five Finger Death Punch, A Perfect Circle, and More

I resentfully put this post together tonight.

Venom are still doing things apparently. Not sure how I/we are just learning about this now, but their latest album, Storm The Gates, will be out December 14th via Spinefarm Records.
I like A Perfect Circle, I really do. But I don’t quite know why they covered AC/DC‘s “Dog Eat Dog”? I supposed it doesn’t really matter what I know. Give it a listen.
Five Finger Death Punch have announced their fill-in drummer: Charlie Engen of Scale The Summit. This is a good thing, he’s very talented.
Here’s a video from something called Black Coast, which sounds kinda cool (the name, not the song – I haven’t listened to that yet). The track is called “Ill Minds” and it features on their new EP titled Ill Minds Vol 1 (Primordial Records).

CANTO: Ozzy, AC/DC, Rivers of Nihil, and More

2/6/2018. Yes, I do realize putting the date in the body of this post is redundant. No, I don’t care.

Rivers of Nihil have released new album details. Their third full-length will be called Where Owls Know My Name and is set to drop March 16th. You can listen to a new track, “The Silent Life”, right now.
Ozzy Osbourne has announced one more, final, last, forever and ever tour through North America this year. The “No More Tours 2” will feature support from Stone Sour. Link for tickets that go on sale… eventually.
AC/DC will be continuing with Axl Rose on vocals. I guess they are working on new material as well. I don’t think I like this.
In anticipation of their new album, Place Noire, which drops on April 13th, Death Engine have released a new music video for “Modern Life”. Check it out if you’re feeling some hardcore/noise.

Leading off, it looks like frontman Ryan Patterson has left Coliseum to start a new project called Fotocrime. More power to him for pursuing his interests, but…goddammit if true. I need to go play Anxiety’s Kiss like ten times in a row.

CANTO: Amorphis, Sylosis, Abbath, Helmet, and more

This dropped a couple of days ago but I’m just getting to it now. Sylosis is going on a temporary hiatus. Josh Middleton will be lending a hand on the current Architects tour.
Abbath. What about him? He has begun rehearsing for his next album. I wonder how the Immortal guys feel about that?
I don’t think I’ve reported on this tour yet… which is a damn shame. Amorphis will be hitting up North America early next year with support from Swallow The Sun.
Huge news for Brian Johnson the former/current(?) AC/DC vocalist has been meeting hearing experts Asius who claim they could have him back on stage in half a year. Wow.
Helmet (remember them?) has a new song and video out! It’s called “Bad News”. Not sure why I’m so excited…
