End of August already? Good lord. I hardly know where the time’s going anymore. Nevertheless, it’s late at night on Thursday because I put this off a bit, and — of course, and probably due to my tardiness — there’s a tremendous load of album art to dig into this week. We’ve got seven featured here in this post, and it could easily have been twice that amount, but for the lateness of the hour. So, let’s not waste any further time!
I turn 30 tomorrow! And for my birthday, the metal world has gotten me not-a-lot-of-album-art-to-make-fun-of-this-week. Which, honestly, is a good thing, cause I had an oddly busy week at the day job. But, there are still five albums featured in this week’s post — including one particular stalwart act that should surprise nobody for their inclusion here — so let’s not waste any more time. Continue readingWelcome back, y’all! This week’s post is kind of interesting in that most of the albums we’ll be featuring ended up coalescing around a particular theme: COLORS. There are lots of colors in these album covers, and most of them actually — gasp — work pretty well together! We’ll also be featuring a band who did not hop on the color bandwagon, but whose name is literal binary code, so…kinda had to include them. Anyway, let’s get started!
Man, do we have a loaded week for y’all this time out. I don’t wanna pretend all of them are bad or that I’m gonna have snarky comments for each one; it’s just a nice, well-rounded group of album covers for your viewing (and, occasionally, joke-reading) pleasure this week.
