I’m already looking forward to the return of hockey.

In anticipation of their upcoming tour together, John 5 and Jared James Nichols are hosting a Facebook live event on Monday, July 26th. The tour I’m referring to starts on August 10th and will run through September 4th. Tickets for those dates can be found here.
Thrash veterans Exmortus have also announced a new U.S. tour. Those dates run from July 22nd through August 21st, most of which are out west. So like, that tour starts tomorrow. Did I miss an earlier announcement about this? Anyway, in other news, it looks like a new album is planned for 2022 as well, which is dope.
Have you ever sat around just wishing you had a Guns N’ Roses branded bong? Well, if so, opportunity is now knocking… on heaven’s door (I’m so sorry). Here’s the purchase link, but I’m willing to bet it’ll be sold out soon if it isn’t already.
Times of Grace, the project featuring Adam D and Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, shared a new visualizer for “Currents”. Of course, that’s a track taken from the recently released Songs of Loss and Separation, which just dropped last week.

CANTO: Megadeth beer, Global Citizen Fest, and more

Remember on that alcohol stuff from yesterday? Well, we get more of it today. Megadeth have announced that they will be releasing their Á Tout le Monde saison in the near future.
More information about Opeth‘s upcoming Sorceress. A limited edition pink vinyl will be released as a means of benefiting Gilda’s Club of NYC, an organization dedicated to cancer patients and their families. A great, great thing the legends are offering up here. I encourage you all get in on this.
More feel-good news! This time from Metallica. The legends will be playing Global Citizen Fest this coming September in Central Park. The anti-poverty show comes at no charge and will also feature more mainstream acts like Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar.
For better or worse, it looks like this Guns N’ Roses reunion tour is going to be going on for awhile. Like… well into 2017. Who doesn’t like money, right?

CANTO: New Rammstein, plus updates from Corey Taylor, Guns N’ Roses, and more

Well I didn’t see this coming. The first two of weeks of the Slipknot/Marilyn Manson tour were postponed because Corey Taylor needed unplanned spinal surgery. Does not sound fun.
Any other fans of “Mr. Pickles” out there? Apparently Rob Zombie will be guesting on this upcoming Sunday’s episode. Apparently he’s going to be playing a douchebag vegan. Or something.
Guns N’ Roses pitched to play beyond curfew at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Since Massachusetts is Massachusetts, they refused to feed GN’R’s ego (thank god) and that request was put to rest quickly.
Rammstein revealed a new song at Gods of Metal Festival in Italy called “Ramm4”. It sounds like Rammstein. That stage, though. Dear god that stage.
