CANTO: Spirit Adrift, Tool, Randy Blythe, and More

Did ya miss me?

  • For those that missed it, the Westboro Baptist Church protested the election of Danica Roem to state legislature. No surprise there because, ya know, they’re the worst. The fun part? Randy Blythe countered their protest with… kazoos. And it went super well! He’s such a treasure.
  • Tool updates! No, not album news. But tour dates are kinda fun, right? Why do I feel like I was in this exact same position typing these exact same words last year?
  • How did Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody celebrate one year of sobriety? With a giant tattoo on his dome. Like… what now? Weird flex, but ok. Did I use that right? No? Oh well. I tried.
  • A new Spirit Adrift song dropped over the weekend… and it’s awesome! Check out “Hear Her” below. Their new album, Divided By Darkness, will be out May 10th through 20 Buck Spin.

CANTO: Eyehategod, Morbid Angel, and a new video from Clutch

“Spineless from the start, sucked into the part. Circus comes to town, you play the lead clown. Please, please, spreading his disease, living by his story. Knees, knees, falling to your knees, suffer for his glory. You will.”

CANTO: Updates from Devin Townsend and Allegaeon, plus a cool new Shining video

Hey, everybody. It’s Monday. And I had to work. Normal for a Monday, yes. Not normal for Columbus Day. Dumb.

CANTO: Black metal street performances for the win. Other stuff, too.

No but really, this new stuff from Dead to a Dying World is absolutely amazing.

I mean real weird. But appreciated.

CANTO: Soilwork’s New Album, Neurosis’ New Tour, and the Aftermath of Rocklahoma

Hey everyone, I’m officially back into the flow of the routine now that MDF is all said and done. I still haven’t decided if that’s a good thing yet. But, you don’t care, so let’s bring metal back into focus:
