Happy Wednesday, everyone. And congrats on making it the majority of the way through the week. Let’s round off the day once again with some Quickies, yes?
- Boring news first: Here are your post- New Year album sales. There really isn’t anything new, but another strong showing by AC/DC and Slipknot. Consistency counts, I guess.
- Worst news second: Five Finger Death Punch will be releasing a new album in 2015. Oh. Joy. I’m sure they’ll be a band none of us can avoid come summer festival time. God dammit.
- Now, this is actually interesting… A look at vinyl sales in 2014 relative to digital music and CD sales. The vinyl trends may surprise you. I say… cool.
- Scar the Martyr appear busy. We all know that vocalist Henry Derek Bonner was in a gnarly car accident this week. Seems like things worked out, which is a good thing.
- And here’s a new video from a Polish blackened death metal band! No, not that band. It’s HATE this time:
It rips. The song is called ‘Valley of Darkness’. The new album Crusade: Zero will be out February 10th.
