Quickies: Album sales (vinyl sales?), updates from Scar the Martyr, and Polish blackened death to round things off.

Happy Wednesday, everyone. And congrats on making it the majority of the way through the week. Let’s round off the day once again with some Quickies, yes?

It rips. The song is called ‘Valley of Darkness’. The new album Crusade: Zero will be out February 10th.

Quickies: Updates from Dark Tranquility, All That Remains, and Brent Hinds (yes, again).

Another week… and a big week it will be here! More on that later. Today’s Quickies are already late, so let’s roll right into it:

Despite the cheese factor, it’s quite tolerable. The new album, One Man Army, drops February 24th.

Quickies: More Boo-Hoos from Wintersun, Obscura News, and More

It’s Friday, I’m tired, and I’ve got a bus to catch, so these will be brief. Here are today’s Quickies–let’s see what we missed in the metal world today:

I’m gonna go sleep for the next 34 hours. Enjoy your weekends, folks.

Saturday Side-Splitter: “Slipknot Shreds”

Happy 39th birthday, Joey Jordison! In celebration, let’s poke some fun at the band that the Scar the Martyr drummer used to provide 100% of the talent for–Slipknot! To that end, we present…Slipknot Shreds!

To be fair, I never hated the ‘Knot as much as a lot of people do (or as much as I probably should), and I guess Mick Thomson and Jim Root do know a thing or two on guitar, but still…after the murky circumstances surrounding Jordison’s departure from the band, I don’t really feel too guilty poking a bit of fun at them. Particularly when said fun-poking is as hilarious as this video.
